Code of Conduct
Academic Integrity — Plagiarism, cheating, impersonation, or any form of academic dishonesty will result in serious disciplinary action.
Behaviour — Use respectful language and conduct. Disruptive, violent, or indecent behaviour is not tolerated.
College Property — Respect college buildings, equipment, furniture, and green spaces. Damaging or misusing property may lead to fines or suspension.
Key Rules & Regulations
Attendance — Minimum attendance as prescribed by Patliputra University is mandatory for appearing in examinations.
Examinations — Follow all invigilator instructions. Possession of unauthorised material or malpractice will be treated as serious misconduct.
Library — Observe silence, return books on time, and respect borrowing limits and library rules.
Hostel (if applicable) — Adhere to hostel timings, visitor policy, and rules of communal living.
Dress Code
Students are expected to dress in a neat, modest, and professional manner appropriate for an academic institution.
Clothing that is indecent, offensive, or likely to create disruption is not permitted on campus.
Disciplinary Procedure
Inquiry — Allegations are investigated fairly by the Disciplinary Committee with opportunity for the student to present their case.
Sanctions — May include warning, fine, suspension, or expulsion depending on the severity of the violation.
Appeal — Students may appeal decisions within the stipulated time to the Principal or designated appellate authority.
Grievance Redressal
Maltidhari College has constituted a Grievance Redressal Cell and an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to address student concerns.
For academic, administrative, or harassment-related grievances, students may approach the relevant committee. Complaints are handled confidentially and promptly.
